•	Select your agency very carefully. Most so called Model co-coordinators are frauds.
•	Make your list of contact persons and coordinators and contact them regularly. Don’t go after quantity – insist on quality. That means don’t be after too many people. Catch hold of few important people whom you may tryst and then be in touch with them. Tenacity is important; the interval between your reminder calls should be consistent.

HOW TO SLELECT YOUR CO-ORDINATOR.

•	If hefty sum for registration is demanded – think twice – be careful.
•	Look at the past record.
•	Insist for contact of those who were given work.
•	Talk personally to few models who worked through the agency. Inquire about the remuneration paid.
•	Check the quality of work and quality of people the agency is associated with.
•	Non appliance on any ground means, they have nothing substantial to offer.
•	Talk to Directors, producers and coordinators at ad agencies and inquire about the agency.
•	Principle of 80:20 applies here too. Don’t go after too many co-coordinators. Select few and remain with them. When u deal with too many co-coordinators, none of them gives you importance. If you are selective about them, chances are that they too would be selective about you. More work will flow towards you in that case.
•	Never try to bypass your co-coordinator. Once in a while you may be successful and save on the commission. But in the long run you would be the loser. Such news travel very fast. Faster than you may imagine.
